Yeesh, I don't really know how or why this happened, but NetEase - or rather, one of its mobile games - is landing itself in a bit of hot water after posting a series of questionable comments online.

The account belonged to NetEase's Operation Windcloud Island, a new game which has more than a few visual similarities to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. After social media goers pointed this out, a game representative commented online and, er, it wasn't good.

Translations of the text note that the comments mock Nintendo fans who don't think smartphone games are real games, before saying that all PC games are superior to Switch games. Apparently derogatory terms were also used when talking about Nintendo and Sony fans.

The comment was deleted (but this is the internet) and a somewhat half-hearted apology was written up, pointing out that they are Ninty fans themselves. This was followed up by a photo of Nintendo Labo that'd been taken off of Google so... yes... that's where we are at the moment.

Source: NintendoSoup

2、Desert flowers bloom
Almost a year ago, Starbreeze and Overkill Software shut down its mobile PvP shooter Payday: Crime War after some ongoing debt problems meant it could not continue with production.

In the months since, news on the state of the game has been silent, but in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on the official Payday subreddit r/paydaytheheist, Overkill producer Almir Listo and community manager Elisabeth Elvestad assured fans that they were still planning on relaunching the game on mobile as soon as they could find a publisher for the game.

Although the AMA was primarily focused on the Payday series as it exists on PC and consoles, one Reddit user asked: “My question is about PD: CW [Payday: Crime War]. When will I be able to play my favourite mobile phone game again and be the best again!”

To which Elvestad replied: “We're still looking for a new partner for Crime War, we'll share more details when we have them :)” Although it’s not a lot to go on, it still shows that Starbreeze hasn’t given up on the game just yet.

The Earthen Pot said to the Brass Pot, "Pray keep at a distance and do not come near me, for if you touch me ever so slightly, I shall be broken in pieces, and besides, I by no means wish to come near you."

2、
The highly anticipated Black Desert Mobile has soft-launched in select regions today for Android. If you're from Australia, Chile, Canada, Ireland, Malaysia, Sweden or Turkey you'll be able to download the game now from Google Play.

This means if you're an iOS user you've still got a while to wait, with the expected release date for Apple devices currently listed as 12th December. The game is based on the popular PC game of the same name, minus the mobile bit obviously, and looks to bring a fully-fledged MMORPG experience to phones.

As you can see from the character creation teaser below it's boasting some pretty impressive looking graphics. On top of that it'll offer in-depth customisation options for your character, so not only does it look great but you should have full control over how your character looks, rather than having to select from a limited number of presets.
