This is the enhanced version of the Gold Award-winning mobile game Shadow Blade, if you're wondering.

It's been on Steam Early Access for a while but only has it now been confirmed for consoles.

The PC version adds a level editor and a PvP Race Mode to the original game. It doesn't seem to have many other new features at the moment but it is still in development.

One of the busiest developers in mobile gaming, OrangePixel, is set to release a dozen games on Nintendo Switch, starting with 2017's Meganoid on September 8th. Following that, you can expect to see the Gunslugs, Heroes of Loot, and Space Grunts series land on the eShop.

OrangePixel has been a prolific indie developer since 2004, having released a number of high-quality pixel-art games on mobile, 3DS, PS Vita, and PC. What's also interesting about his games is that many of them are part of an interconnected universe following a single storyline. The upcoming Residual is his latest game, and it serves up a neat blend of survival and platforming challenges.

Over the course the next week, League of Legends: Wild Rift will be entering a closed beta test in the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore before coming to other regions at a later date. This will be for Android devices whilst iOS users can currently register their interest to take part in future tests.

Alongside the beta, six new champions have been added to the game. This includes Amumu, Dr. Mundo, Jarvan IV, Sona, Singed, and Varus. As someone who used to play Sona a lot – because she's very simple to use and I'm bad – it's great to hear the Maven of the Strings will be in Wild Rift sooner rather than later.

Additionally, cosmetic items will also be arriving in the game too. These will purchasable through Wild Rift's in-game currency, Wild Cores. There are over 300 items being added including skins, emotes and recalls. Furthermore, there are also champion poses, in-game emblems and baubles available too.
Full list of EVERY champion in League of Legends: Wild Rift
Elsewhere, ranked mode will also make its debut in the Wild Rift. It will include a new tier called Emerald and in the higher ranks, the Victory Points system found in the PC version of League of Legends will also be present so players can battle it out for the top spot.

The camera controls have also apparently been improved with various options available for players to choose what works best for them. This will include a semi-locked camera, picture-in-picture, minimap movement, and custom button layouts.

To get involved in the beta if you live in those regions you pretty much have to wait and hope you're randomly selected after pre-registering for the game. If you're an iOS user you can currently only register your interest to take part in future tests.

League of Legends: Wild Rift will be heading to the App Store and Google Play for the rest of the world at some stage. It will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
Looking for some multiplayer games to scratch that competitive itch? Here are 25 of the best available for iPhone and iPad
But Miss Cornelia, who made her calls in calico wrappers, shook her head.
'So many have, that never touched his hand,
I know, I know. With the news that Fortnite's headed to Android this summer, and that it's got big plans for eSports, it's hardly surprising another update has dropped. This one's not huge, but it is quite exciting.
The v4.2 Content Update has arrived!Find out more in this week's Patch Notes: https://t.co/REhrj0zE37— Fortnite (@FortniteGame) May 22, 2018 Firstly, version 1.4 is revisiting its limited-time Solid Gold mode. If you've played on PC or consoles, you'll probably have seen it at some point, but this time it's including the Heavy Shotgun and Legendary Burst Assault Rifle too. As the name suggests, every weapon is Legendary so you definitely have to watch your back with this one.

Aside from that, the game's bringing about a new item type - Backpacks - and Jetpacks are first up. We're not sure how long it'll be around for, mind you, since it's a limited-time item.

Jetpacks take up a slot in your inventory and you can only carry one at a time, so don't get greedy. These Legendary items are triggered by jumping in mid-air, have a limited duration, and do recharge when not in use.

I'll be interested to see just how much juice these things have in them. Too much and the game gets a little easier. Too little and there's not really a point in having them.

What do you guys think of this new addition? Let us know in the comments below.

Almost a month since we saw its last tweak, Crossy Road has recently pushed a new update live on the App Store and Google Play, and it's a little prehistoric.

Take Crossy Road back a couple billion years and this is what you'll get – sort of. The newest update features 13 new dinosaur-related figures, from palaeontologists to skeletal beasts, and a cracking primeval level complete with a variety of your favourite reptilian monsters.

Of course, we're not forgetting to mention the special Flat Eric figurine. It may represent the musician's puppet friend but it makes its purpose known as it's currently offered for free and throws up a screen reminding us that Flat Eric's newest single ft. Skrillex is available, so that's nice.

If you haven't got the game already, grab your copy here on the App Store or Google Play. While you're at it don't forget to check out our guide on catching 'em all…er…collecting them all.
